Announcing: Faces of WordPress

27 July 2013

WordPress recently celebrated its 10th anniversary. We’re posting today from the 8th annual WordCamp San Francisco where hundreds of people who make their living with WordPress have gathered from around the world to talk about WordPress. Each of these people — and tens of thousands more like them — have had their professional and personal lives changed in a profound way by WordPress.

Often, when a beautiful WordPress site comes out, there’s a blog post about how nicely designed it is, how it leverages cool features, etc. The story is about the site, but rarely about the people behind the sites. We want to tell those stories — of the real people behind WordPress. These are the Faces of WordPress.

Today we’re posting our first two video stories — of Bradley Charbonneau and Anca Mosoiu. Do you have a great Faces of WordPress story we should be telling — about you, about someone you work with, or about someone who has impacted your WordPress life? Please shoot us an email! FacesOfWordPress@exygy.com.

Here’s to another 10 years of WordPress and hundreds of thousands of more stories of people whose lives have been made better by the democratized web!

Thanks to the amazing videography of Hannah Levinson for filming and editing these videos. If you’re looking for a very talented videographer for your next project, we can’t say enough good things about Hannah’s work.
