Exygy Welcomes 4 New Team Members!

Exygy has grown rapidly over the past few months, and we are happy to announce the addition of four new team members!

Anastasia Hanan

Anastasia has a diverse background spanning degrees in Theater (BFA), Industrial Design (MS), and Business (MBA). Most recently she was employed by Caltech as a design researcher and partnership coordinator on a sanitation project for the Gates Foundation. In June of 2015 her UX/UI work was featured in Fast Company and helped the team win 1st place ($300K) in the Vodafone Wireless Innovation Project.  In her “off time” she loves hosting various shindigs that engender collaboration between the sciences and arts.

Sheba Najmi

Sheba has an 11-year background in UX, Product, and entrepreneurship. After nearly 7 years at Yahoo! as a UX Lead driving the experiences of 262 million users of Yahoo! Mail, she led Product for iSKY before joining a peace corps of geeks as a Code for America Fellow, where she led the creation of Honolulu Answers, an open source product that has since been re-deployed in over 12 cities around the world. She then founded Code for Pakistan, a non-profit that’s bringing citizen-focused tech innovation to 4 cities in Pakistan. Most recently, Sheba was VP of Product at Luxe Valet ($25M in funding). She holds an MS and BS in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University, with a focus in Human-Computer Interaction. In a past life, Sheba studied in med school and was a news anchor for a TV station broadcast in 60 countries. She teaches a full-day UX class every few months, digs traveling, and can sometimes be sighted doing the Lindy Hop.Anabel


Ana Bel Campos

Ana Bel recently moved to the Bay Area from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil where she began her work in product management. She has worked with agile development for 7 years, and as a product owner she has helped to create a diverse range of digital products. Her biggest concern is always delivering the best experience possible for the user, and her dream is to be able to change people’s lives through her products. Her favorite word is empathy. She uses Keynote for everything, and is known for building “Wow!” presentations.  As a good Brazilian, she loves ‘feijoada’, soccer and samba.Rachael

 

 

Rachael Estess

Rachael graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida, and has worked in the social entrepreneurship sector for 5 years. While working on the Ashoka Talent team, she automated 50% of her job by redesigning the hiring/onboarding process on salesforce. In addition, she led partnerships to provide professional development opportunities to the staff, including pro-bono professional coaching sessions valued at $60K annually. Most recently, she was a fellow with Motiis Innovation Lab in Mombasa conducting market research and testing scalable business models, including leading a 4 month live market test of a mobile food company. Rachael is passionate about supporting changemakers, and helping the Exygy team operate smoothly. She is obsessed with scuba diving and dreams of one day swimming with a whaleshark.
